Overview
At Cottage Grove, we feel that it is really important to equip our children with skills and knowledge that will help them to understand the world around them. We follow the National Curriculum and aim to deliver engaging and exciting Geography lessons, using a range of sources and stimulus. We encourage children to lead their own lines of enquiry and support them in finding answers.
We are lucky to be able to use own school ground with our 'Outdoor Learning' teacher who delivers lessons which combine Science, History and Geography to really interest our children. We also make use of our local surrounding areas and arrange trips where suitable. We like to celebrate cultures and languages with our 'Around the World Day', a whole-school celebration and interactive learning day.
